  • Platform: iOS and Android mobile application
  • Scope: UX/UI design, React Native implementation, localization, offline behavior, compliance-aware flows, release support, iterative feature expansion.
  • Project snapshot

This page summarizes the project, my role, process, and outcome. Additional visuals and process artifacts will be added over time.

  • Introduction

I worked on Timerack Mobile, a commercial workforce app that helps employees track time, view schedules, manage timesheets, and complete compliance-driven punch flows from their phones. The work required balancing employee usability with staffing-agency needs around accuracy, fraud prevention, localization, and operational trust.

  • The challenge

The app had to work for employees in varied environments: warehouses, hospitality sites, construction settings, and other locations where connectivity, lighting, time pressure, and technical familiarity could vary. The interface needed to make time tracking fast and clear while supporting rules such as geofencing, photo capture, lunch lockout, timezone handling, and bilingual use.

  • My contribution

    • Designed and implemented mobile-first flows for punch in/out, timesheets, PTO, schedules, localization, and compliance feedback.
    • Built React Native screens and components with attention to performance, offline behavior, and release readiness.
    • Created clearer visual patterns for punch states, confirmation messages, loading states, and error recovery.
    • Supported English and Spanish localization with layouts flexible enough for longer translated text.
    • Collaborated with product, backend, QA, support, onboarding, and sales teams to translate real-world feedback into improvements.
  • Outcome

The app replaced an outdated mobile experience with a modern production product used in real workforce environments. It strengthened the company’s mobile offering, improved user trust, and became a more reliable foundation for future mobile workforce features.

  • Production UX under real constraints

This project reflects my ability to ship user-facing product work at scale. It combined design polish with operational constraints: compliance rules, offline behavior, localization, timezones, dashboard dependencies, and real support feedback from the field.
