This page summarizes the project, my role, process, and outcome. Additional visuals and process artifacts will be added over time.

  • Introduction

I designed and built the interface for Intellipunch, a dedicated time clock system used in shared worksite environments. The product needed to support fast clock-in/out behavior, reliable feedback, localization, offline use, and hardware-specific constraints without overwhelming employees.

  • The challenge

The interface had to be fast, legible, secure, and forgiving in crowded environments where users might have limited time, limited technical familiarity, and inconsistent connectivity. The app also needed to run smoothly on constrained hardware.

  • My contribution

    • Designed core punch-in/out, registration, device configuration, language switching, error handling, and admin flows.
    • Built the React Native front end and optimized the interface for limited hardware performance.
    • Designed for offline operation, sync feedback, and local data resilience.
    • Created high-contrast, bilingual UI patterns for industrial environments.
    • Worked with backend, QA, project management, and support teams to translate field feedback into iterative improvements.
  • Outcome

Intellipunch started as an MVP, but evolved through real-world deployment and field feedback into a more complete commercial product. My work helped strengthen the experience across usability, security-sensitive flows, hardware-connected behavior, offline use, and operational reliability.

  • Reliability in shared work environments

This project captures my experience designing for speed, clarity, localization, offline behavior, and constrained hardware. It required front-end ownership as well as sensitivity to real deployment conditions, where a simple clock-in flow has to feel dependable for many people using the same device.
